The past month has been a bit insane. Hence why there isn’t more posts on this for a while. But I’m hoping to turn this around and get back in the swing! To start that a little, I’m going to be a little selfish and talk being proud of yourself. I realize the post before this was the same thing, but sometimes, you just need to be proud of yourself. This month, I’m pretty proud of myself for completing all the races I’ve signed up for this year!

Learning to Like Exercise` Gamer Dash 2015
Today was my final lap for the 5ks hosted by Geek’d Out Events and I was not prepared. This past week has been a sort of last hurrah for me at work before our health challenge starts next week. With all the craziness that happened with SLCC last week, I had been indulging a little this week. By indulging a little…I mean A LOT! When I woke up this morning I knew I wouldn’t be in tip top shape. I also knew that I was going to finish anyway.

My third run of the year was today’s Time Lord Run hosted by Geek’d Out Events and benefiting American Childhood Cancer Association. It’s my third 5k this year.

The Potter Run, benefiting The Children’s Justice Center, was my second 5k of this year and I was so excited. This is actually the third time this run has been a thing, and my second year participating.

Well I’ve been sick most of this week and thus I haven’t really had much to be excited about since after I get home from work I have just been going straight to sleep.
