Thursday and Thrilled: Stuff that has come from SDCC

Thursday and Thrilled

Every little while I get into a funk. I call it a funk because to me being in a funk is when you are aware of what is happening around you and how you’re reacting but you aren’t sure why you’re feeling that way. I’ve been slowly trying to work my way out of said funk to no avail. But still, I’m going to keep trying and hopefully I’ll pull up and out of it. Despite the funk, it’s Thursday and Thrilled time and I’m excited about a couple things.

Heroes Reborn
I was a pretty big fan of Heroes… at least until about the middle of season 4. So when I heard it was coming back I was skeptical but hopeful. I really loved what this series was and after watching the Comic-Con trailer, I’m COMPLETELY on board. It’s also time for me to re-watch the series.

Riftworld Chronicles
About a year ago I watched this short film that starred Tahmoh Penikett and Erin Karplunk about a Wizard who is trapped in our world. The short film was too short and I wanted more. Lucky, for me I wasn’t the only one. After posting on a crowdfunding site, the series had raised enough money to shoot a short web-series. This was the week it was released, and it is AMAZING! Above is the full playlist of the episodes.

While there were many awesome things to come out of San Diego Comic Con this year the best in my opinion was the #DubsmashWar2015 between the cast of Agent Carter (spearheaded by Hayley Atwell, the queen of DubSmash) and the cast of Agents of SHIELD (spearheaded by Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet). These silly videos had me rolling on the floor I was laughing so hard.

It started off innocently enough.

The Chloe and Clark decided to up the game a little.

Hayley would not be defeated.

Then Hayley decided to deal a “killing blow” (this is Chloe’s song from when she was a chinese popstar)

Clark and Chloe pull in the rest of the cast for their final song

These two casts have a lot of bad blood 😉

The war continues. Bad Blood video as promised for our #NerdHQ panel. @realhayleyatwell @clarkgregg

But ultimately, Hayley will not be defeated.

And then #TeamCarter celebrates

I can not deal with the amazingness that are these casts. Seriously, they made the fact that I wasn’t at SDCC so much better by doing this and having so much fun doing it.

That’s about it, but I’d like to know what you’ve been excited for this week?
