Thursday and Thrilled: Back to Basics

Thursday and Thrilled: Back to Basics

It’s only the second Thursday of the year and I’m already behind in these! Siiiiiiiigh! The past few weeks have been a weird range of emotions, but as of this week I’ve been in a pretty awesome mood all week. Spending my days with my awesome company and my evenings watching shows with my husband that make us laugh so hard I feel like I had done a million crunches. Finally getting out of my weird holiday funk.

With all of that, this is what I’m thrilled about this week

Thursday and Thrilled: First Comes Exhaustion, Then Comes Binge-Watching

Thursday and Thrilled: First Comes Exhaustion, Then Comes Binge-Watching

This week had been a little crazy. After getting home from my much needed and disconnected (we only had Edge data… EDGE… do you remember what that was like?) vacation, I came home to crazy busyness at work and just utter exhaustion every day. Ear Worms: Kelly Clarkson and Josh Groban sing “All I Ask of You”

I am a big fan of Broadway musicals. I’ve only seen a handful on a stage, but I’ve always enjoyed watching a story unfold with music. Phantom of the Opera is not my favorite musical. It’s beautiful and a classic, but ultimately not my favorite. However, one of my favorite songs from the musical is “All I Ask of You”.

Today, Entertainment Weekly posted this link to Kelly Clarkson and Josh Groban singing this song and it is so beautiful I want to cry.

Take a listen!

I’m impressed with how well their voices blend and especially with Kelly’s performance.

What is one of your favorite duets?
